Richard Elvidge
Managing Director
I grew up in a deprived part of the UK and over time came to realise that I still had more opportunities than many people around me. That perspective has shaped how I think about talent, access, and the role small businesses can play in broadening opportunities for a wider and more diverse group of people.
Through WGS, I’ve worked with global manufacturing, and technology companies to help hire leadership and specialist talent across complex international markets. From technical experts to commercial leaders, I’ve supported some of the world’s largest organisations, while also helping smaller and scaling businesses secure the specialist talent they need to grow.
I’ve relocated people across the world, supported HR and operations leaders in broadening access to more diverse talent, and spent countless hours helping companies rethink how they engage with diverse and hard-to-reach profiles.
At its core, the work is simple: helping good people access opportunities they may never have otherwise seen.
Personally, I spend a lot of time cooking, regularly wearing an apron on calls, training in the gym, and supporting my daughter’s swimming.
